Audition - Come sing with us!

Children entering second through fifth grades are eligible to audition for the Colorado Children’s Chorale training choirs. Auditions are held in May/June/July, and August/early September. The Children’s Chorale is made up of children from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. Tuition for the year is applied toward the training and education members receive. Financial assistance is available.

Our simple auditions are designed to check for the necessary voice range and quality. Children should be ready to sing one stanza of “America” (My Country ’Tis of Thee) or "America the Beautiful."

How old does my child need to be to audition?
Each May/June we audition children who are entering second through fifth grades in the fall.

Does my child need to have previous choir experience or training?
No. He or she should love to sing, be outgoing and have the appropriate vocal range. In other words, be a little "ham" who can sing high!

Do boys sing in the Colorado Children’s Chorale?
Yes! Of our 400 members, approximately 180 are boys.
