LIBBY COTTEN*, Associate Conductor, directs Prep Choir and assists Tour Choir and Concert Choir. As a Chorale alumna, she brings a unique perspective to her position. With her passion for choral music education, Libby also directs the Colorado Children’s Chorale Education Programs across the metro area, including coordination of the School Partnership and Community Choir programs. Libby earned her Bachelor of Music Education with a Vocal Emphasis from Texas Christian University. She holds affiliations with the Colorado Music Educators Association. Prior to joining the Chorale in 2019, she taught middle school choir in Texas and was assistant director for a Dallas-based children’s chorus.
